“ We arrived at around 12pm and ordered from the 2 for 11.49 value menu. We both ordered fish and chips for the main which was lovely, a good sized piece of fish and well cooked and plenty of chips and mushy peas. It was do goo I forgot to take a photo! For desert I gad a caramel apple Betty and Custard which was lovely and my partner had a mini sundae. The staff were courteous throughout, and very friendly and helpful. It was a lovely meal and we would highly recommend a visit to anyone! ”
“ Greeted with a smile by friendly staff who were only too happy to take us to our reserved table. They asked if we had any special requirements, allergies etc. They were so attentive throughout, we were allowed to eat our meals in peace without being disturbed. The only downside to the evening was the fact my husband has sensory issues which we were catered for by way of a quiet area but some adults allowed their children to run around screaming which made us leave early. The staff and manager were in no way to blame for this as it is a family friendly establishment but it would have been nice if the parents of the children showed a little respect for others dining this evening. “ We’ve just returned from a booking of 15 people and were met by Chloe who did her utmost to get our 2 tables together. Throughout the meal she continued along with other staff to look after us. So much do we’ve re booked for our Xmas breakfast. This lady is a credit to your company. ”
“ We have stayed at the Premier Inn here frequently for the past 6-7 years, and were really impressed with the Turnpike Inn today. The food at breakfast was really good today, and the service was even better. It had improved significantly from previous years. Elliot and Catherine in particular were great - sorted a table for 7 at a very busy time, filled the kids water bottles, and were just really helpful, kind, efficient and great with the customers. Thanks all for a great service today! ”

The chef, Chris, is incredibly attentive and goes out of his way to ensure that my meals are both safe and delicious, which I truly appreciate. Our waitress, Beki, has been outstanding as well. She’s always friendly, professional, and goes the extra mile to make sure we’re comfortable and happy. Her warm and attentive service really adds to the experience. “ Fantastic breakfast this morning. Lovely service. Front of the restaurant had some lovely flower boxes in full bloom. Car park had plenty of space and super clean and tidy,no rubbish. First appearances didn't disappoint . ”
